Finnish School of Kosovo proudly presents its #HoldTheRoll initiative 🧻, a pledge from our whole community and a call to action to protect our planet 🌏 as part of CNN’s global annual #CallToEarth campaign 🌳. This is a continuation of our efforts in educating the future leaders of our country and the world in this topic and taking bigger steps in saving earth from pollution.
This month we have organized more than 20 activities during which our students have engaged in learning about the environmental challenges our planet faces, what we can do to protect it, and they have grown more into understanding how little steps from young minds make a great impact worldwide. From creating art from plastic caps, to creating artistic works from toilet paper rolls, pickling vegetables to reduce food waste, recycling ♻️ old clothes into toys and new designs, our students are taking action today to protect our planet.
